Which class is my child in?
By age, not by what they already know. A child who cannot hold a pencil belongs in Nursery, whatever their birth certificate says.
- Play Group1.5 – 2.5 years
No books at all. Songs, colours, clay, and learning to be away from home for three hours without being frightened.

Letters and numbers by touching them, not by writing them. Holding a crayon properly comes before holding a pencil.

Writing begins. Spoken English in class, Hindi at play, so neither one becomes the language a child is scolded in.

Ready for Class 1 anywhere in town — sitting through a period, copying from a board, and answering a stranger who asks their name.

What happens, and at what time
Not "holistic development" — the actual clock. This is on the wall inside too, and any didi will tell you the same thing if you ask her at the gate.

The four things every parent asks
Asked at the gate, at the tap, and of every other mother in the lane. Answered here so you do not have to ask them of us.
- CCTV, and the login is yoursEvery room and the playground, on your own phone. Not a camera you are told about — one you can open at 10:40 and look.
- Eight children, one didiA class never goes above eight. If a batch fills, it waits for the next didi rather than taking a ninth child.
- Our own van, and a message when they boardDriver and an attendant didi on every trip. You get a WhatsApp when your child gets on and when they get off.
- If your child is unwell, you know firstA call, not a note in the diary at home time. Fever, a fall, or crying that will not stop — the phone rings within minutes.
The fee, all of it
Everything you will be asked to pay in a year is on this page. There is no development fee, no annual charge in December, and no separate exam fee — if it is not listed here, we do not take it.

What the day actually looks like
Ordinary mornings, not a photo shoot. Nobody was lined up and nobody was told to smile.
Started by two teachers who could not find a school for their own children
In 2019 we wanted a place in Motihari where a two-year-old would be held when they cried and where we could be told the truth about the day. We did not find one, so we opened one room in Chhatauni with nine children. Everything on this page is what we wanted to be told back then, written down before you have to ask.
- Both founders are trained in early childhood education, and both still take classes
- No child is ever hit, shaken, shouted at or shut in a room — a didi who does it once does not come back
- Parents may walk in during school hours without telling us first
- Fees are raised in April only, and never mid-session

Asked before admission
My child is not toilet trained yet. Will you still take them?
Yes, in Play Group. Send two changes of clothes in the bag and we handle it without making anything of it. Most children are trained within two months of starting, because they copy the others.
Is there homework?
None in Play Group and Nursery. In LKG and UKG, ten minutes at most — and if your child is tired or unwell, send it undone. Nobody is scolded for it.
Do you give food, or should I send tiffin?
Send tiffin. We do not run a kitchen, and we would rather say that plainly than serve something we cannot stand behind. Water is filtered and refilled here, so the bottle can go empty.
What if I want to take my child out mid-session?
Tell us and take them. No notice period, no fee for the remaining months, and the transfer certificate is ready the same week. A school that holds a child by paperwork is not one you should be at anyway.
Can I come and see before deciding?
Please do, and please come between 9 and 12 when the school is actually running — not in the evening when it is empty and tidy. You do not need to tell us you are coming.
