Question 1

How much does a website cost?

Accepted Answer

A 1 – 4 page website starts at ₹6,999 and a 5 – 8 page business website at ₹11,999. Hosting and the security padlock (SSL) are free for as long as your site runs; only the domain name is yours to pay — about ₹800 to ₹1,200 a year, in your own name. You get the exact number in writing before any work starts.

Question 2

I already have an Instagram page. Do I still need a website?

Accepted Answer

Instagram is rented ground — you cannot control who sees your posts, and nobody searching Google finds you there. A website is the one place customers can reach you on your terms, and it is what shows up when someone searches for your trade in your town.

Question 3

My business is already on Justdial. Why do I need a website?

Accepted Answer

Keep your Justdial listing; it helps people find you. But that page belongs to Justdial, and it shows other businesses like yours right next to you. A website is yours alone: only your shop on the screen, your own photos, prices and timings, and a WhatsApp button that comes straight to you. Your website link can go on your Justdial listing too.

Question 4

What if I do not like the design?

Accepted Answer

You see the first draft within a few days, not at the end, so there is time to change direction. Three rounds of changes are included in the quoted price, and you only pay the second half once you have approved the design. Anything beyond three rounds is quoted before I start on it.

Question 5

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

50% by UPI or cash to start, and the remaining 50% once you have seen the design and approved it. No advance is taken before you have seen the written quote and agreed to it.

Question 6

Does the domain have a password? How do I know it is mine?

Accepted Answer

A domain has no password of its own. It is registered in an account at a domain company (such as GoDaddy or Hostinger), and that account is the ownership. Yours is bought with your name, your email and your mobile number, so the login and password stay with you and the yearly renewal is paid from your account. I only need access to set the website up; the domain stays yours even if you ever move to someone else.

Question 7

Do you work in other towns?

Accepted Answer

Yes — I take on work in Bettiah, Raxaul and Muzaffarpur, and remotely anywhere. A project can run entirely on WhatsApp and video call, and if you are nearby I can come and see the business.

Question 8

Can you also print the banners and cards?

Accepted Answer

I design them and hand you print-ready files, and I can send those directly to your printer with the right specifications. Printing itself is billed by the press, not by me — that way you always see the real printing cost.
